“With my God I can scale a wall” Psalm 18:29
Hometown: Memphis, Tennessee
College: Middle Tennessee State University class of 2014!!
Degree: BA with a major Spanish and a minor in Art History
Birthday: June 29th (Presents accepted)
Dream job: Opening a small scale, modern day pilgrimage route/art exhibition way back in the woods somewhere; I want people to be able to experience a religious pilgrimage, and a taste of medieval art, without having to go to Europe.
Hobbies: Playing card games with my cat, cooking with my cat, singing songs with my cat, cleaning with my cat, and telling bad jokes to my cat.
Favorite book: Top Three: Brighton Rock by Graham Grenne, Brave New World by Aldus Huxley, and The Guardians of Ga’Hoole series by Kathryn Lasky.
Favorite colors: Electric Blue and Gray. I really, really love Gray.
Interesting fact: My life goals include taking a road-trip through the mid-west and walking the Way of Saint James in Southern France and Spain.
Moments where I encounter God: Music is definitely what brings me closest to God. Whether it’s just me in my room or car singing my heart out, or in the midst of corporate worship, I don’t think there’s a better way for me to feel closer to God than to be giving back to Him through praise!
Why I wanted to be on staff: Camping ministry has been a part of my life for many, many years. The LEC family programs are very different from the other camps I have worked at, and I’m very excited to experience something new with all of you!
What I am most looking forward to this summer: Each camp is different from every other, and I’m really looking forward to the family aspect that the LEC offers. To be specific, I am extremely excited for Grandparent camp!!
Anything else? I really like talking about my cat, Bonnie Raitt. I’m also allergic to rabbits.
